I've been active in fandom since 2004, but I never ever made one of those ships and pairings lists. Oh my, what kind of fan am I? I would say it's high time to set things right. Here it comes now:

Oh man, I will love those HP pairings and all other HP pairings until the end of time. What was it about HP that made everyone so shippable?

I was writing a Snape/Black series and didn't get to complete it. Also a H/S time travel series. I tried to get back into them but too much time had passed.

If only I didn't have to work and could just write fic all day.

Gods, yes! Yes! I will whorship those pairings forever. I think it's so shippable because the characters are intriguing and three-dimensional. The world of HP is rich, full of exciting details. You don't want to leave it. You want to explore every nook and cranny. I think that's why it's still one of my main fandoms.

Too bad you can't get back to your HP fics. Time Travel is a favorite trope of mine.
I haven't read a Snape/Black fic in ages, but I still remember scenes from the fics I read back in 2005. Those were so hot. I often seem to ship characters who are antagonistic or competing. Snape/Black, Snape/Harry, Draco/Harry fall under this category.

If only I didn't have to work and could just write fic all day.
Work takes a lot of precious spare time. I wish there were a world where we only have to work half the time at the same pay (I often read this would result in more productivity and fewer health issues).

You should see the movie. It is so slashy (and great). Alas, there is literally no fandom. AO3 lists four (4!) fics, and that's it. It's devastating.

The trailer alone is enought for a dozen slash fics. They just had to show Denzel naked with a woman as if to say "no, everyone is straight here. Look, he is banging the hot chick."

I haven't watched SPN for ages and I still read Dean/Sam regularly.

Damn, I'm really stressing the boundaries of my extented lunch break, but oh well. It's the first week of the year. Nothing important to do, but answering lots of queries.

Yes, right? That trailer! Wait till you see the movie. I wish there were more fics. There was so much tension between those two. And of course you are right about the hot chick. :D

Did you know SPN has already 11 seasons. I stopped watching in the middle of season 4. It's so bizarre. I noticed you can watch all episodes up to season 9 on Amazon Prime for free. After M. and I finished our rewatch of The X-Files, we really entertain the idea of watching every episode of SPN. I had a short look into the first episode, and instantly felt my old love for SPN flaring up (and you know I used to be crazy about that show). If we do start watching SPN, I'm sure, I will want to read fic again.

I remember that SPN had to fight for renewal after the first or second seasond. Fans were campaigning for it. And now it's been on for a decade. o_0

And might look into Sons of Anarchy because I heard some good stuff about that show.

Yeah, I remember as well. I asked someone who's still watching it if it's worth getting back to, and she said, "No!". Lol I don't know what the plot is like. But somehow that angel Castiel is still onboard. It seems Sam and Dean were separated for a while (not sure if that's true).

I don't know. I think M. and I will try watching it and see where it leads us.

I watched the first episodes of Sons of Anarchy when it aired on Rtl 2. But I didn't take to it.
