Hi there, dear visitor, lurker, curious one! Welcome to my little corner of the interwebs. This journal is semi-huntersfriends only. Fannish stuff is open for everyone, but ramblings about my real life are not. This is a drama-free zone. If you want to friend me, make sure you've read the fair warning section on my profile bio. I don't have a particular friending policy other than you being of legal age in your country of residence. It would be awesome if we have a few things in common, too. (You know, makes getting to know each other and interacting a lot easier. :D) Just drop me a comment here and say "hi".

Once we are friends: get to know me uncomfortably well. This will have to do until I can bring myself to write a shorter, more interesting version. If the procrastinator in me is willing, that is. :)

This is so funny. It had me in stitches. Sebastian Stan, the actor who plays Bucky Barnes a.k.a. the Winter Soldier in the Captain America movies/upcoming Avengers: Infinity War movie, talks about how much lube he needed to put on his metal arm. (I know from another interview that it was KY.) *lol* Aaaaaaaaand he talks about his little Brokeback Mountain moment ("I won't quit you.") with Steve Rogers. Awww, so many Stucky feels. I can't! And then he speaks in Romanian and how he was born in Romania, the country where Vampires come from. *snorts*

That guy is so adorable. I can't believe I've just learned about him.

I've jumped a new ship: Hello Stucky!

In the last couple of days I've watched two Captain America movies I haven't seen before: Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War (2016). I knew scenes of Bucky and Steve from both movies because they were (and still are) all over my dash on tumblr. Sure, I've noticed the slashy potential but without having seen the movies I was missing some important emotional connection. I just didn't know Bucky at all, and what I knew of Steve was also not enough for me to jump that ship. Well, that changed drastically when I watched those movies, especially Civil War. Now I see. Now I have the needed emotional connection. Now I ship it! :D

I know Stucky is a pretty popular ship. So, if you know any must-read fanfics, please, link me to them. I haven't read any fanfics about Steve and Bucky yet, but I would love to.

Mark Osborne's "More" (1998)

More is a hauntingly beautiful short film that despite it's age I only discovered last year. I have watched it several times since. It really gives you something to think about. It's gloomy and dark. To me it is about happiness versus money and consumption. You can't get happy by having lots of money or goods because if you make your happiness depend on such things you'll be always wanting more, more, more. Happiness comes from within and you should cherish the simple things in life that don't cost anything, like family, friends, a warm spring day, the smell of rain in the summer, laughing with your loved ones etc.

Beautiful hurt!Sam pic I barely can take my eyes off

So, a few days ago I went hunting for hurt!Sam fics and Google directed me to a tumblr blog where I found this pic which basically is so beautiful and breathtaking it pushes all my hurt/comfort buttons.

OMG, I don't know what it is exactly, the eerie, otherworldly light which can be taken as a sign for just how out of it Sam is here? Sam bleeding profusely all over his gut and being all alone out in the woods? Sam leaning heavily and seemingly relieved on the Impala (Dean's Impala) for support (almost collapsing on it) because Dean isn't there to take proper care of him? (It's almost as if he takes comfort in the car which acts as kind of a substitute for Dean?) I just, I find this pic utterly fascinating.

In case you are wondering now: Sam got this injury in season 11, episode 17, Red Meat. An episode full of deliciously hurt!Sam and worried!Dean.

Supernatural Season 13 episode 01 "Lost & Found"

Sooo, I've watched it. The premiere of season 13. It was strange because I haven't yet seen seasons 10, 11, and 12 (just finished 9x21). I tried really hard to catch up but you just can't watch twelve complete seasons that fast. For me, though, it was really important to watch season 13 when it aires. Who knows how many seasons there are to come? It could be the last for all I know. I just wanted to squee and enjoy this 13th season with fandom, just like back in 2007 when I first discovered Supernatural. Oh those good old times. :)

So, I read some spoilers for seasons 10, 11, and 12. I kind of know the basics of what happened, especially at the end of season 12. But I don't know any details. With me being three seasons behind, I thought it would be very confusing to watch 13x01. But no, not at all. It was very easy to dip in.
